Nationally Recognized Author and Pediatric Specialist, Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg, To Lead Workshops Designed for Parents, Educators and Teenagers

Renowned author and pediatric specialist Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg will conduct two public workshops, offering advice and strategies for having a positive influence in the lives of children and adolescents. Presented by Girls to Women Health and Wellness—a multidisciplinary medical practice dedicated to the physical and emotional needs of girls and young women ages 10-25—the events are designed for educators, parents, teenagers and anyone who cares about youth.

Kenneth Ginsburg, M.D., is a nationally recognized pediatrician specializing in Adolescent Medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and an associate professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Dr. Ginsburg seeks to create strategies to raise resilient children who are capable of dealing with life’s difficulties and who learn from personal defeats. He is the co-author of several books including A Parent’s Guide to Building Resilience in Children and Teens, and But I’m Almost 13!: An Action Plan for Raising a Responsible Adolescent. In the past seven years, Dr. Ginsburg has been named one of Philadelphia magazine’s “Top Docs” five times.
